Hon. Life President – Mr. Wong Kim Hung passed away
KFHKCL Honorable Life President – Mr. Wong Kim Hung passed away on 6th May 2022 in Hong Kong. Mr. Wong was the earliest Hong Kong people practicing Karate. He followed Seihan Harada and Seihan Suzuki to start Goju-Ryu Karate and became Branch Chief of Goju-Ryu Seibukan in the beginning. In the early 1970s, Mr. Wong went to Japan for advanced studied with Wado-Ryu Otsuka Soshi and Miyakawa Shihan, then introduced Wado-Ryu Karate to Hong Kong. Later, together with different style of Karate leaders to establish the Hong Kong Amateur Karate Association in Hong Kong, which further improved the development of karate in Hong Kong. Mr. Wong was committed to contributing to Karate for a lifetime. KFHKCL all members are highly appreciated his contributions into Hong Kong Karate. On behalf of all our members, a sincerely condolence to his family.   Details of the funeral will be shared at a later stage.

Updated information 4-5-2022-Fitness centres to be opened
鑑於疫情趨勢持續穩定,政府今日(5月3日)公布,將進一步放寬社交距離措施如下,以期有序重啓社會及經濟活動: 由5月5日(本星期四)起,提前放寬餐飲處所最多8人同坐一桌,重開泳池、刊憲泳灘、康樂及文化事務署水上活動中心和轄下公眾游泳池,以及容許身處郊野公園、在戶外進行劇烈活動等情況下可以不佩戴口罩。 由5月19日起,如期第二階段放寬社交距離措施,包括延長餐飲處所晚市堂食時間,容許重開酒吧/酒館和餘下受《預防及控制疾病(規定及指示)(業務及處所)規例》(第599F章)規管而現時須關閉的表列處所,戲院可容許飲食等。 政府早前(3月21日及4月14日)公布分三階段調整社交距離措施。自4月21日第一階段放寬社交距離措施以來,有賴市民及相關業界配合,注重衞生防護並遵守防疫措施,本地第五波疫情持續受控。隨着每日新增個案數字繼續下降,未有出現明顯反彈跡象,加上由4月30日起進入相關處所已實施須接種兩劑疫苗的「疫苗通行證」要求,政府認為在此基礎上,本港應具備條件繼續按早前公布,在5月19日起第二階段放寬社交距離措施,並適度提早在5月5日起放寬個別措施。 有關詳情,請瀏覽香港特別行政區政府憲報公告︰ https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/chi/social_distancing-faq.html
