為配合政府「對公共衞生有重要性的新型傳染病預備及應變計劃」下提升應變級別至緊急及避免市民聚集，原定於2020年2月2日之「2020年度第一次選拔」將會取消，直至另行通知，敬請注意。 有鑑於政府公布「衞生防護中心公布輸入新型冠狀病毒感染確診個案最新情況及最新措施文件」呼籲市民，如非必要，應避免前往湖北省武漢市。本會因應現時之地理及相關安全考慮進行風險評估，執行委員會決定不會派隊參與「2020年全國空手道錦標系列賽第一站」及「2020年全國U18空手道錦標系列賽第一站」之賽事。有關「2020年全國空手道錦標系列賽第一站」及「2020年全國U18空手道錦標系列賽第一站」之賽事參賽支票會於稍後郵寄予各申請者。如日後主辦單位將賽事延期或其他特別安排，執行委員會會再因應當時之舉行日期、地理及相關安全考慮進行風險評估，研究派隊之可行性。本會重申會以運動員之安全作為考慮之首要。 本會得悉「第十屆東亞空手道錦標賽」主辦單位正在就賽事之安排跟進中，本會會密切關注相關情況，再作決定及公布。任何賽事情況，本會會以運動員之安全為首要決定。 如有疑問，歡迎致電2504 8243與本會職員聯絡。
